One Voice – The Gala Phoenix Fundraiser Event

One Voice Fundraiser Info!

Curio’s Gala Phoenix is currently in the midst of legal issues which have resulted in her content being removed from the grid, pending the outcome of her legal battle. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) process in Second Life requires that when there is legal action taken against your content, Linden Lab will remove it from the grid until a ruling is made. Gala’s fellow content creators have come together to host a fundraiser to help with the enormous amount of legal fees she will have to bare in order to fight these baseless claims.

The fundraiser will be held from July 9-15,

Some participants include Flowey, BareRose, Black Lace, Belleza, Ingenue, Laq, Luck Inc, One Bad Pixel, Gos, Truth, Bent, Fawn, Cupcake, evolve, Glam Affair, ely, Lassitude & Ennui, Zanzibar, Adorkable, Ikon, League and many more.

This fundraiser is not only to help Gala Phoenix, but to also take a stand for the community of content creators, for many of whom SL is their main source of income. This could happen to any one of us, and it’s necessary that we stand up and fight back to ensure that it doesn’t.

So now. *sighs* My opnion to this brainless claims of hush.

I was a Curiomonster since uhm like almost 2 and a half year. that means i’worn CurioSkins like 70% of second life. I am proud to say i owned almost all of those amazing creations. Like many girls curio is something i`’ve grown up with in my second life. And i allways love the faces of Gala.! \o/ (Even if the last faces looked pretty similar :P)

So okay let’s start to fight for honor , who deserves to get honored.

I Heard about hush maybe 4 month ago the first time. BUT never went there and shall i tell you why? The skins are soooo fugly. Yes even it was galas work, this woman , who own hush got it to ugly up the skins. Also i notived so mcuh similarities to pink fuel, league and many other stores. I am really excited how many leagal actions hush can pay. I mean the skins she does cant be the the mainsource of income . 😀 *laughs her ass off* sorry. But man i dont know how to say how much i hate ugly skins and stupid  skinbotters. I Mean HUSH , if you wanted to get out of that shit, which you started to crap , why didnt you say “ hey it was a template?“ like so many skinshops do.  not you had to copyrigth your crappy quality. now you will have to deal with your problems. and i am so happy after ll will have removed your suff. it is one step closer to a more beautiful virtual world .
